Each standard gas boiler service will include the following:

1. Carry out soundness test to ensure no gas leaks prior to service.

2. Check the location of the appliance.

3. Inspect flue for corrosion.

4. Check ventilation meets regulations.

5. Check condition of isolating valves .

6. Inspect / clean fan unit and evaluate performance and functionality.

7. Inspect heat exchanger for signs of damage or leaks.

8. Inspect / clean / adjust main and pilot burners.

9. Check / clean / adjust ignition and electrodes.

10. Check temperature control. 

11. Check operation of boiler safety devices. 

12. Check appliance gas rating.

13. Conduct burner pressure tests.

14. Test air intake analysis.

15. Analyse flue gases to ensure safe operation.

16. Conduct appliance gas safety test post service.

17. Complete RGII appliance conformance certificate and leave copy with customer. 

18. Check for installation of CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) alarm and advise, if one present, whether located correctly or if one required.

19. Advise customer of any repairs required, urgency of repair and quote before carrying out work or advise of improvements that can be made.
